VA01/02 - Status Bar warnings

All,

I'm working on some scripting that helps a user input data quickly into the items table in VA01/VA02. The script is working fairly well except there are materials that will throw a status bar warning message "Material xxxx has status: use Stock". This is simply acknowledged by hitting enter but the action takes up about 3 seconds due to the page refreshing. Is there anyway to get around this?
