Degree for jobs in SAP

Hello sir,

I have 2+ years of experience in SAP PP Support project i was also working on implementation project but when i give an interview i got selected but after that they says u don't have an college degree so we can't do anything so the college degree is that much important for job in SAP ( i have competed diploma in mechanical engg.)
