HMRC FPS submission issue

Hi,

We are having an issue from SAP PI system with HMRC while performing FPS submission. When the payroll team through B2A Manager submit the FPS collectively (bulk) the HMRC connection is getting closed but when we send individual payroll file the connection is established and working fine.

We are getting this error ".http client code 401 reason connection closed"

We can raise OSS with SAP right for better information. i dont see we can do anything from HCM side part from the above options

Hi Sikinder,

OSS with high priority created. Given assess to SAP they already have done evaluating system both ECC and PI ..as per SAP there is no issue with application also we have send the FPS xml files for further investigation and the data is accurate. we dont know whats the next step to be followed as we are in tight spot due to no response from HMRC yet....The only available last resort is HMRC.....this issue had costed reputational and financial damages ......we are in very tight spot ...so I was looking for any valuable information from the SAP blog if someone has came across same incident in their environment.

Looks there is an issue in RFC settings between SAP and HMRC, Can you please check with basis team whether all the connections were done

Hi Sikindar,

Yes we have tested couple of scenarios with Basis, PI, Network and proxy team to identify any issues in the network . I have earlier mentioned that we are able to send the FPS 10 to 30 files ....the issue is when we send collective data....If RFC connection is not okay .....then we wouldn't able to send 10 files right .....there is no firewall rule in the network ...

We can see the data is going from our network in the firewall ....it looks like something is restricting in the HMRC end .....its been one month now we have raised the ticket with HMRC but no response ---very frustrating.

I assume you are submitting FPS for year tax 2020 , Can you share B2B screen shot error by expand the error message

Yes 2020....we are submitting weekly but unfortunately we are not able to submit due this issue ....its very challenging to get a support from HMRC....Just confirming You want B2A or B2B screen ....sorry i am not an HR person ....I will ask the payroll team to screenshot
