Why do i get a popup with 'Change Number & not valid for BOM' when creating a Bill of Material ?

When creating a Bill of Material in the App Maintain Bill of Material app i click on 'Create BOM' and input criteria , along with a change number but i get a popup with 'Change Number & not valid for BOM'

Why ? . The Change Number exists

The Change Number in the app Display Change Master does not have the flags 'Object' and 'MgtRec' set on the 'Objects Types' for Bill of Material

Please use the Change Change Master app
