Live connection on universe

Hi All,

1. We are planning to build Analytic Application (AA) dashboards on Universe live connection. We would be using Geo Maps extensively as this is for a Real estate client. So can some one having info on this type of setup please provide your suggestions on what challenges we would be facing and what are the limitations of Geo map in case of universe live connection.

2. We will also use linked analysis between Geo maps and other charts. This linked analysis is not available in AA. Also Geo Maps in AA doesnt support event handling (we dont have "fx" to write script). So how can we achieve this any thoughts please.

I don't think it is possible right now. The support for Geo Map widget in Analytic Applications is currently limited, although it is on the backlog though. Means you currently do not have events or script APIs for Geo Map widgets.

To be honest I don't know whether it is possible to do this with R visualization. Another option would be to implement a custom widget. But there is currently no data binding for custom widgets. This means you would need to have a hidden table widget somewhere to get the data from.
