Hi,
Our client make some transactions with Chinese Suppliers, for which we need to enter the Bank data in S4HC. The only data provided on these Suppliers is their Bank account number (IBAN is not used in China). In our project, we will use the Bank number as Bank key. Therefore, from a Chinese Account number, how can we find the Bank number? In the standard (SSCUI 102592), the Chinese Bank number is configured as followed: Length: 9 Checking rule: 6 - Maximum value length, numerical But I can't find any other information on how to determine the Bank number, and so the Bank key. (I am aware that there is a topic in SAP when the CN Bank account number is longer than 18 digits, but here we don't have the case.)
Thanks.
Hi,
Each Chinese Bank has a unique 12 digits bank number(银行联行号) when it established, it's given from The People's Bank Of China. If you prefer to use the 12 digits bank number to manage bank information, you could require the supplier to provide it together when they provide bank account details.
Thanks,
Shalini
