item category in zzan does not exist

hello everyone!

despites the item category is configured correctly in as shown in the screen shot may i know why i am facing this error.

i have maintained general item category group and item category group in the material master

while i tried creating other zor item it happend again to occur the same error

despites the same gen item category and item category I maintained under the material master.

Hi Kumar,

please let empty field ItmCatHlItm as well. This is used when you have an item referenced to another item (i.e BOM explosion item) .

thanks both of the suggestions combined together has helped but new error came up namely error occured in derivaton rule.

I would check the Usage field, this should not be ZZAN. I believe in this case it should be left blank which is what the error message states - just IN (sales document type) + ZZAN (item category group) then determines the ZZAN item category.

Try this and see how you go.
