Hi Gurus,
Greetings.
Seeking insights on the difference between incorporating PPDS vs IBP.
As part of S4 Hana PPDS is inbuilt and can handle within the system.
Currently client is expecting constrains to be considering during the planning phase for which expecting PPDS can sort out.
But still as had gap between of IBP's working posting here.

Hi,
SAP IBP OBP planning generates planned orders for in-house products and replicated to S/4HANA PP/DS as a external planned order.
During the handover to detailed scheduling and planning (DPS) external planner order will be replaced by PP/DS planned order with stock order, BOM will reexplored and detailed scheduling will be carried out.
Planned order (Stock order) will be replicated to IBP system.
Best Regards,

S/4HANA Embedded PP/DS can plan for finite planning considering the capacities without IBP.

Hi, I have a question very close to yours.
Today when we think of factory tools, the IBP and its modules are applied in mind, but the e-PPDS replaces some IBP functionalities, could you explain to me which of these functionalities are replaced?
Thanks.
