CCO linked to BYD : customer credit ?

Hello

When CCO is linked to ByDESIGN , is it possible to make customer credit ?

Exemple: When a customer returns a product. Is it possible to edit a credit to refund him ? in that case, a specific ticket would be printed and the customer would be able to use that specific ticket as a payment for the next sale.

I believe it is possible when CCO is linked to Business One, i would like to know it is the same for BYD

With SAP BusinessOne we allow creating "Credit Memo/Note" when goods are returned.
However with SAP ByDesign this is not supported.
With SAP ByDesign you have following options
1)You can create a "Gift Card" by using "Payout by Gift Card" options and the customer can use the gift card in next visit. Gift Cards are created in SAP Customer Checkout manager and can be used in all stores.
2)Don't Payout the money, but create the Sales Transaction as "Payment on Credit". However customer cannot directly use it next time. Maybe in ByDesign if there exists an Reconciliation that 1 positive invoice and 1 negative invoice can balance each other. However i do not know if such an option exists in SAP ByDesign or not. Also for "Payment on Credit" customer record is mandatory.

You can select the option "Payout with GiftCard".. a new giftcard is automatically created and pushed to SAP Customer Checkout manager.

Yes, we support different types of giftcard as well. In teh configuration Sales -> Article ID for Giftcard you can maintain the different types.

A Giftcard is useable till the time the money in it is exhausted. We also support "top-up" enabled Giftcard. Which means that it is possible to load more money in the gift card and make it usable.. lets say endlessly.

About Option1) that you proposed, is there any KBA note with more details ? Because, how we use that option is not clear.

Do we have first to create a gift card in CCO MANAGER ? What amount do we have to set for that gift card ? Or is it directly created when used in CCO ?

Then when returning a product, what kind of gift card do we have to use, (there are two type of gift card selectable) ?

Is the same gift card set in CCO MANAGER infinitely usable (depending of the remaining amount i suppose) ?
