How S&OP in ECC and Planning from APO end makes difference in PP Process ?

I am trying to understand basic difference between planning happened with APO and without APO in Production Planning Process .

Which areas of PP makes work more easier when we have APO tool to handle planning ?

The question refers to S&OP (Sales & Operations Planning), while the details does not refer to S&OP. Can you please rephrase the question?

APO DP has advanced ways of doing these things like the macro functionality in DP provides quick and user- friendly computations on the transaction data all the chars/key figures and macros define in ECC in Flexible planning and run DP have some scenarios , which are not available in Standard SOP, like Promotion planning and Life cycle Planning. And DP Forecasting tool is not comparable with ECC and it is advanced in SCM STANDARD SOP Functional scenario DP is conceptually similar to Flexible SOP.
