Order-Based Planning Forecast Consumption Not Working:

Hi,

We have followed below steps to configure OBP Forecast Consumption, but open forecast is not correct on APP: View Projected Stock.

Please let us know if we have missed any configuration step so that Open Forecast in APP View Projected Stock is equal to Unconstrained Forecast not consumed by Open Sales Orders.

  • 1.Forecast settings for OBP:
  • 2.We have created OBP Planning Level: PRODLOC
  • 3.We have created Forecast Consumption Profile: WKPRODLOC
  • 4.We have created it in SAP Transaction: /IBP/ECC_MDSET
  • 5.We have assigned it to our Product Location combinations in SAP transaction: /IBP/ECC_LOCMAT
  • 6.We can see it correctly updated in APP View Location Materials:
  • 7.In Excel we can see sales orders higher than forecast:

  • 8.I expect Forecast Open to be zero in APP View Projected Stock, but it is still 2: Confirmation run is planning both forecast + sales orders

Best Regards,

I could see open forecast requested date as 3/8/2021 in app but there is no forecast on the same date in Excel. Can you please try take a confirmation re-run? Also, if you've enabled multiple forecasts in settings for order-based planning fiori app, auto-forecast consumption gets turned off. Can you please check and confirm if that's the case?

Thanks so much Piyush

We have weekly forecast consumption, for that reason we expect that forecast on march the 8th will get consumed with forecast on march 12th. In fact, forecast in excel is on the 12th also, but in app is displayed on Monday as per forecast consumption profile (weekly). We have also deactivated "Use Multiple Forecast Key Figures", we have below: Forecast = FORECASTUNCONSTR and Constrained Forecast = FORECASTCONSTR
