refresh lines in marketing documents after master data update

Hello,

is there a way to force a refresh in lines of marketing documents to load the update which are meanwhile changed in master data ?

lets say we have a quote, having 30 items there, meantime the weight of the product is updated, or price had been updated, or even Item Name had been changed.

Is there a way to realod these from master data without having to delete items & put them back?

The current functionality allows only to have the refreshed values in the new documents. Could you share the actual scenario, so we may find some workaround?

Hi,

imagine you have a SalesOrder or Quotation. not all information for example like the weight is known before we receive actual goods, so weight in the master data are being populated later than the item is used in quotation or sales order. So our warehouse fill out these and i would like the sales order to refresh the data too see actual and refresh total infomaiton.

this is sometimes necessary with prices as well. you have quotation there, suspened for couple of months, and then the client want to update the prices. meanwhile our procurement might updated the pricing of items.

kekso, If you want to print the refreshed information you can do that in the crystal report layout.

If you want to display the information, then create a UDF with FMS to refresh the respective fields to 'refresh regularly'.
