Notifications to Buyer for Order Confirmation

Customer will connect SAP ECC to DSN. Question: Does DSN sends notification to PO requester when supplier sends order confirmation?

Client requirement is that every PO creator in ECC to be notified when supplier confirm/rejects PO.

If you go to your Buyer account -> Administration -> Notifications :

you will see:

These are all notifications that Portal will send and as you can see it is up to 3 email addresses.

There is also another option called:

"Send a notification to the requester when an order is acknowledged"

This means that:

Ariba Network sends out the order status updates to the Ship To email address at the PO header level (or the email address listed in the Ship All Items To field in the PO).

To include email that should receive notifications for for OC/ASN, you need to use this field in IDOC:

If I am not mistaken - it is an email associated to plant in SAP master data by default (at least from what I ve seen in S/4

If the PO has the Ship To address(es) listed at the line-item level ONLY, and there is none at the header level, customer will not receive notifications.
