CSAP_MAT_BOM_READ and CSAP_MAT_BOM_MAINTAIN blacklisted?

Hi,

Since our customer updated to the latest kernel version of S4/HANA in Dec 2020 the function modules CSAP_MAT_BOM_READ and CSAP_MAT_BOM_MAINTAIN don’t work anymore and are blocked due to possible incompatibility (called from external program via RFC).

Is it „legal“ to remove the function modules from blacklist by using SE38?

Are there alternative function modules that could be used instead?

When will those function modules be removed from blacklist?
