What do XSS applications exit to?

Hi all,

I am aware that on clicking on a service on the XSS area page, the service is executed in the iView mentioned in the "URL of PCD page" mentioned in the resource.

However, all these application have an exit button which return them back to the area menu. How is this? Is there a way by which the PCD path of the service page is passed to the application, is it configured somewhere or worse...it is hardcoded?

Has anyone been able to figure this out?
