Crystal Server 2016

Hi all,

We currently have a deployment of Crystal Reports 2008 and have recently purchased Crystal Server 2016.

I have ran the upgrade management tool and migrated everything over from 2008 to 2016, except users and groups as this might be done from scratch as this is moving from one AD to another.

We currently use Crystal Reports via info view as a web application and I'd like to do the same with 2016.

What I can't figure out is how to deploy the web application in 2016.

Is there anyone who can help with this?

Kind regards,

Garry

If you installed Crystal Server 2016 and selected default options during install it would have deployed the webapps automatically to the included tomcat webapp server.

You can Access them via http://yourservername:8080/BOE/CMC and http://yourservername:8080/BOE/BI

Hi Denis,

Thanks for your response.

Do these replace infoview?

I've checked and can access these from the server which crystal server is installed but not from another pc. Does anything else need to be configured? Otherwise this may be a firewall issue.

Thanks

Garry

/BOE/BI replaces infoview
/BOE/CMC is the CMC

If it works on the server itself, but not from another machine - its either a name resolution issue or some security stuff on your network or (less likely) firewall.
You'll need your network admin help you with that.

Thanks again Denis, I think I'm sorted.

Just a few ODBC connections to fix now.
