APO SNP followed by S4 HANA PPDS

Hello Experts,

SNP in APO followed by Production Planning and Scheduling in APO was always possible

Can I do SNP in APO followed by Production Planning and Scheduling in S4 HANA PPDS?

If not, how can I cheat my way around? What developments are needed?

    Hello,

    What kind of PPDS functionalities, would you like to use with SNP planned orders?

    SNP planned orders as fixed supply elements for PPDS, even in standard SAP you can not changed these planned order through DS scheduling board or rescheduling heuristic.

    By using the SNP PP/DS conversion heuristic, you convert SNP orders into PPDS orders for the different location products then further use the PDDS in S4.

    SNP planned order with S4 PDDS is supported.

    Refer SAP Note 2666947 - Restrictions and Implementation Recommendations for Production Planning and Detailed Scheduling for SAP S/4HANA 1809

    Certain versions (refer SAP Note 2376061) of a “Standalone SCM-APO” system running side-by-side with SAP S/4HANA are supported (including all functions integrating standalone SNP, DP and PP/DS).
