ABAP in BTP(SCP) , Custom entity association, composition and to parent association

We are trying to build a extension in ABAP environment in BTP . Data source is n premise system. As per the research for getting data from on premise, we see that CUSTOM entities are only the source to create CDS artifacts that use in the RAP model.

Now the challenges and requesting help on the following:

1) Adding composition in root entity to child entity is giving error? No help for syntax available

2) How to add to parent association? No help for syntax available

3) How can the parameter added in the custom entity used in query class? how can the value be passed when used in RAP?

4) Can the parameter in the custom entity be used to link via association or composition?

5) How can the selected parent field key value sent to child custom view query class to get the dependent entries?

what do you mean by BTP? it is rather broad term
