OSTS status issue in Notification, unable to close it

Dear experts,

There is an issue raised by the client and it is related to OSTS status (Outstanding Task) in the Notification.

Current status of notification is NOPR ORAS OSTS

There is no task code or code group assigned in the notification however the table QMSM shows an entry. No task tab is configured for this type of notification in SPRO

Since the status is OSTS, the user is not able to close the notification. Could you please suggest how to resolve this issue? In case this is due to some inconsistency, can you suggest some correction program

Are the tabs visible for both header tasks and item tasks?

Already executed Program ZMELD001, mentioned in note 128555, but this didnt help

• Can you see the tasks that are causing the issue in IW23?
• Are the tabs visible on the notification for both header tasks and item tasks?

Go to SE16/SE16N/SE16H and enter table QMSM and your notification number, then execute the report to get a list of tasks for the notification. Does this list match the list of tasks in IW23?

Can you send an image of the following:

• IW30 view for the notification
• SE16 list for table QMSM

Ok, so the problem is that you have an active task at header level in the notification (i.e. the Itm field is blank).

So you need to do the following:

1. Activate tab 10\TAB11 for your notification type in the IMG (SPRO->Set Screen Templates for the Notification Type)
2. Go back into IW22 and complete the task and close the notification
3. Deactivate tab 10\TAB11 for your notification type
