Stock in previous period

Hi All,

I need to change the profit center in material master, i receive an error stating stock exist in previous period .I can see the stock in material master storage location view & plant view. I have 1000's of storage location, when i try to scrap the stock thru MIGO, the system is asking to enter the storage location .

I checked in MB5B based on previous month date input it doesn't show the storage location in which the stock lies.

Is there a way to find out.

Check material details in table MARDH and MBEWH to find the difference!

When i check table MARDH i see stocks in previous period ,but it is showing in the month of 12/2020,11/2020,10/2020, how to move these stocks to present period so that i can scrap them..

What is the difference and why cannot scrap those material quantity at the current period now?

Hello murugan.mgl

You can get stock in the previous period directly from MARD (storage location level) and MBEW (valuation area level) directly. No need to read MARDH or MBEWH tables.
