Hello,
we're using the ITSM part of Solution Manager 7.2 (SP11).
A recent organizational change removed the need for a certain ticket support team and I'm trying to disable/hide it so that
1) it doesn't show up in any searches anymore
2) ITSM users can no longer assign tickets to it.
How can I disable/hide a support team (Business Partner of type Organizational Unit) so that it no longer available for selection?
Deletion is not an option "yet" because existing closed/confirmed support tickets are still referencing it, which is intentional.
Example of a search that should no longer display disabled team.

Hello,
Marking the Business Partner for deletion and archival , or central lock, will add a "do not use" text after the Business Partner name text, but it will not completely prevent using these Business Partners.
For completely hiding a Business Partner , standard CRM authorizations are described in this blog, which is not an official SAP document but explains how to do it in an easy to follow way:

The point "3. I have specific Business Partner/Account Group that I do not want certain employees to touch, as I have a specific team which handles that specific account group" describes how to use Business Partner groups and the authorization object B_BUPA_GRP.
According to SAP KBA 2617334 - Authorization check is insufficient in partner selection popup, the F4 search help could need additional adjustment to avoid the possible selection of a Business Partners on the basis of authorization check for B_BUPA_GRP.

ioo invece ho un altro problema , volevo eliminare un BP perche la categoria non esiste piu , ma non mi da modo perche me lo vede come non modificabile
