Cannot connect to hana database with admin user.

Hi All,

I am learning Access a Classic Schema from SAP Business Application Studio tutorial. When I opened my database explorer and entered dbadmin user and password. But it is showing error like below.

2. if I go through below option, it is saying invalid credentials.although i am sure of password.

request you to help on above 2 issues.

Can you try to launch the SAP HANA cockpit from the SAP Cloud Platform cockpit and from there open the database explorer?

Hi Denys,

I cannot login into the SAP HANA cockpit throwing invalid credentials error. Although i can login in database explorer but it is throwing some sort of connection error.

Hi Suresh,

When you cannot connect to cockpit with a given user, you cannot connect to the database explorer; it is the same issue.

If this concerns the DBADMIN user and in case this is the only user account with user admin privileges (on the default user group), you will have to open a ticket and request support.
