$sap-client=XXX for OData Receiver POST

I am trying to POST a sales order to S/4HANA via the standard OData API and the request goes to the wrong SAP client. I would like to understand what's the best practice to add sap-client=XXX in the POST requests since 'Custom Query Options' is not enabled for POST requests.
