How to remove default value of Working Area in Engineering WorkBench?

I defined a default working area for Engineering Work Bench.

I now want to clear the default and want the users to choose the current working area manually when they go to CEWB.

How to clear the default ?

I have the same question, but I think this is a limitation of SAP. Because different from selection variant, in this you can't clear the standard variant. To my knowledge, we cannot change that. But it is worth researching better.

PS: These parameters are in CWB_WORKAREA_DEF table for each user.
