Notification coding field.

Can anyone tell me how can i select coding field in IW21 notification?

Hi Venkatesh,

From the screenshot i can say that some screen areas have not been defined for your particular notification type that you are using. Below attach is the screen shot of notification type where coding code is enabled and visible.

Check the configuration for screen areas once.

Below is the path in spro:

Plant Maintenance and Customer Service->Maintenance and Service Processing->Notification Creation->Notification Types->Set Screen Templates for the Notification Type

Hari venkatesh,

Check the following in the IMG (SPRO):

• Maintain Catalogs: Check you have catalogs and codes created for catalog type "D"
• Change Catalogs and Catalog Profile for Notification Type: Ensure you have assigned "D" to the Coding field for your notification types
• Set Field Selection for Notifications: ensure that the Coding fields are not hidden
