Goods Issue PPF /SCWM/PDO_01_POST_GI not checking condition records

Hi EWM Experts,

In my system I am trying to use Auto Goods Issue PPF:

Action Profile : /SCWM/PDO_01

Action Definition : /SCWM/PDO_01_POST_GI

I have not created any new Determination Procedure for this Action Profile at the below path

SPRO - IMG - Cross-Process Settings - Delivery - Warehouse Request - Actions - Configure Action Schedule

but, still the PPF was determined in my Delivery (please see the Delivery Screenshot in the attachment in comment section).

After this, I tried to create a new condition table, new determination procedure, assigned it to the Action Definition, Register condition maintenance group & maintained the condition record as mentioned in the below thread:

https://answers.sap.com/questions/12969912/post-goods-issue-automatically-in-ewm.html#

but, after this step also the PPF was getting triggered in all the Warehouses (even for those WH which are not maintained in the condition records).

So, my doubt : Does this PPF /SCWM/PDO_01_POST_GI consider condition records or not ?

If not then how can restrict it to trigger at the Warehouse Number level ?

Thanks in advance!

Shiv

Hello Gautam,

Please adjust your PPF customization from below SAP note. If there is incorrect configuration, PPF condition record is disregarded and PPF action is scheduled automatically .

2431682 - PPF triggered automatically and not by condition record

Hi Shailesh,

Thank you so much for your inputs.

I have maintained the condition technique including the configuration mentioned in that SAP Note (please see the attached screenshots).

In the screenshot you would see that I have assigned the Determination Procedure to C* Warehouses and maintained the Condition Record for C* WH but the PPF still getting determined in H* Warehouse Deliveries.

Any further suggestions which I should check from configuration perspective ?

Hi Shailesh,

Yes, that is the root cause! Thank you !
If you have multiple warehouse then you need to maintain entry for all the warehouses at "Assign Determination Procedure" or you can maintain one entry w/o Warehouse and maintain Access sequence w/o Warehouse.

Hi shiv_shankar,

Your use case is supported by standard. If condition technique is called or not, depends on the scheduling condition.

I am not really familiar with the schedule condition /SCWM/AUT_GI_POSTING and if it calls condition technique or not. Usually, you would use schedule condition /SCWM/GI_POSTING for this which calls condition technique. Also, there shouldn't be a start condition AFAIK.

Might be that your EWM is older or newer than all the ones I have worked with, but using /SCWM/GI_POSTING and no start condition always worked fine with condition technique for me.

To see if your schedule condition calls condition technique, you can check the coding (in SPPFCADM on tab schedule condition on button "Edit condition". It also seems that this schedule condition takes parameters, you might therefore want to check the parameter values.

Jonas

Hi Jonas,

Thanks for your reply. Let me get Schedule Condition /SCWM/GI_POSTING checked by my developer.
