Dear all ,

I am working on IDEAS 800 Client . One of my friend is tring to post the GR .

He is getting following MSg .

COuld not determine recipient for Msg type ACPJMN

Diagnosis :

An Idoc of msg type ACPJMN was passed ALE layer , but the three reciver fields in the header record are not filled .

In this case ALE layer tries to determine the reciver from the distribution model . There are no entries available in the distribution model for above MSG type .

Procedure:

define the reciver for this MSG type or deactive distribution for this MSG type .

Pls Give me idea how this error can be solved .

Hi Raghavendra,

You need to fill the EDIDC - Control Record (IDoc) for receiver, sender and logical message type information in order for ALE to continue the distribution process. Also you need to maintain distribution model and distribute views (t/code BD64) and partner profile (t/code WE20).

Secondly, the message type ACPJMN does not exist in table EDMSG. Please ensure you choose proper message type for posting GR. Perhaps you can use message type <b>MBGMCR</b> instead?

DID U CREATE CONNECTION BETWEEN BOTH THE SYSTEMS?

STEPS THAT ARE FOLLOWED IN CREATING A LOGICAL SYSTEM AND ASSIGNING A CLIENT TO IT HAS TO BE DONE ON BOTH ENDS..AND EVEN CREATING A CONNECTION.
