I have a Z field in VBAP that has the attribute Chg. Doc marked in its data element. When we change the field value directly in a custom screen in SAPMV45A or update it via BAPI_SALESORDER_CHANGE, the change log for the field updates as expected.
However, this is not the case when doing a successful Credit Check from Transaction UKM_CASE.
In this case, when our implementation of IF_EX_BADI_SD_SALES~SAVE_DOCUMENT_PREPARE executes during this process, the change log is not updated, but the corresponding change to the z field in vbap is via our custom code.
It appears that when coming into the Order save prepare from UKM_CASE, the associated yvbap structure is not automatically populate as is when doing a normal va02 transaction.
Any thoughts on how to trigger the change logging under this situation?
