Workbook question

Hello,

I have a workbook with few quaries inside. i changed the scaling factor in the rows to 1000 in one of the quaries.

now when i refresh the workbook nothing changes but if i open the quary in a new workbook it changes. Is there a way to refresh the quary to show the rows new scalling factor?

Open the Workbook, goto the local query definition change the scaling factor and then execute the query in workbook.

When you save the workbook the KF settings at that time will also be saved along with the workbook any changes done to the global query will not be affected to the workbook.

Hi,

try to change the local query properties as well with the new scaling factor value.

Goto Change Query(local view) and once it brings up the local query then change the scaling factor there as well.

One suggestion, why not put the scaling factor in the query selection screen, so that in future, if there are changes required frequently, you won't have to go and change the query properties, but the users can themselves input the scaling factor. You can set a default value for it in case the users don't want to input the value each time.
