Need to update bkpf-xref1_hd using chagedocument_open, single_case and close

Can somebody please help me how to update bkpf after selecting a record from ALV and saving. I've used the above three FMs but I do not see any result.

Why are you trying to create a change document in CDHDR/CDPOS, that wouldn't change the original data?

Better try a FI FM like FI_DOCUMENT_CHANGE (may require a note implementation) or a good old BDC on FB02.

First use some search tool (launchpad, google) there are already many threads/discussions with sample on FI_DOCUMENT_CHANGE. (Just provide just enough information to identify document and fill the table parameter with fieldname/old/new values)
