Change G/L account to a G/L as Open Item Management

Dear community,

The customer wants to change a G/L account to a G/L as Open Item Management. There is already postings created in P system (in the previous years) and the balance is not zero.

The system doesn't allow to activation os OIM, so the procedure is to create a new account with the correct setting and transfer the existing items to this account.

There is no workaround supported in S/4HC for this as set the balance as zero in P.

Could you please confirm?
