We can't remove the batch management indicator ,if batches already exist for that material .

To change the Batch Management flag, the outstanding batches needs to be deleted and archived.

To find the existing outstanding batches for a material , please use the search help "Batches for material" found in the app (Change Batch or Display Batch).

Please refer to the KBA 1799601 , and delete and archive the batch if you want to change the indicator.

It's like the condition technique you need condition records (master data) as well. Are you doing SLED? I would recommend only doing batch determination at delivery time as you can not have split batches on the SO and once on the SO the batch can not be changed on the delivery.
