Hello!

My name is Eduardo and I work in the Product Support for Professional Services.

I would like to share this question in the community as this is a question that I receive through incidents.

When using Project Billing, if you are using a custom field in the billing item from the billing tab of plan customer projects, after you create the billing document, if you display the billing document in Display Billing Document app the custom fields are empty.

How can I use custom fields when using Scope Item 4E9?

When using scope item 4E9, if you would like to use custom fields in the Billing tab, please use Project Billing Element Business context to create custom fields.

This is also described on the KBA below:

3015693 - Custom fields are empty in the billing document when using Project Billing functionality

Best regards,

Eduardo

This is possible using the app 'Create Billing Document - Billing Due List Items'. Using the Settings button (on bottom right side) you can use toggles to set the following to On/Off

1. Set billing date and type before billing

2. Create separate billing documents for each item of the billing due list

3. Automatically post billing documents

4. Display billing documents after creation
