Inspection lot creation for PO before GR

Can we create an Inspection Lot for PO before good receipt in S4hana Cloud?

Hello Ghita (Former Member).

The only reason to create an Inspection Lot before a Goods Receipt is if you are working with a Pre-Sampling, to verify the Quality of Commodity Products like Sugar, Wheat Flour and others, before the Goods Receipt.

could you explain, why you would like to have a INspection Lot before GR.

Usually you use Q-Stock Type to indicate,that the stock is still in Quality Inspection.
