Work Order printing in new maintenance scope items S4HC

Hi Cloud Community

I am currently working on an S4HC implementation, and the intent is to utilise the new maintenance scope items (4HH, 4HI, 4VT, 4WM) when they are released next year in Australia. However it has been identified that work order printing will not be activated for these items with the release.

I have tried to configure printing for the new work order types via output parameter determination, with no luck. I am wondering if anyone in the USA or Germany has managed to be able to configure this successfully, or has managed to utilise another method to print work orders - maybe via an API with a custom form output.

Any information would be appreciated.

Have you considered using the app Job Card which is available with the Role SAP_BR_MAINTENANCE_TECHNICIAN?

Hi Enda

Thank you for the response and the details. I have located the WDA app and am able to print work orders via this. From what I can see and the brief testing I have done, it seems mass printing is not possible via this app and printing attachments is also not included. Can you please confirm?

Thats is correct. Mass printing or printing attachments is currently not possible . If you would like the functionality added , please consider raising a feature request as outlined in the KBA https://launchpad.support.sap.com/#/notes/2840635
