Business partner master - field attributes

Hi, 

Is it possible in the S/4 HANA Cloud solution to maintain the field attributes for business partners? 

It seems that there is no possibility to set certain fields on BP role level as mandatory, optional, display only, etc.

I have been looking around in the "manage your solution" app but did not find a way to do this.

BP layout changes are not allowed at this point in cloud.

If you use the new 'Manage business partner' app rather than the older 'maintain' version, can you not use extensibility to at least build some basic logic to support some of this (for example message if a mandatory field is blank).

It's not the most elegant solution but worth at least considering for key fields.

Let's hope that the proper configurable functionality to support this (and for the material too) is made available soon!

Do you have any news regarding the functionality to change the bp layout and define mandatory fields for the Maintain Business Partner App? As the "new" apps "Manage Business Partner Master Data" does not include all the fields, that should be maintained, we need to create and change business partners via "Maintain Business Partner" app.

The BP layout can be changed now using SSCUIs:

Define Account Groups with Screen Layout (Customers) 103050

Define Account Groups with Screen Layout (Vendors) 103127
