Hi,

Due to reasons of performance, the system cannot check in the material master whether a text exists each time a purchase requisition is created. Such behavior is documented in SAP Note 27136 - Purchase requisitions from planning: Text not copied.

When a purchase requisition that is created from materials planning (planned order or MRP run conversion), the text is not copied from the material master, even if this is in fact specified in the Purchasing Customizing.

There are however ways around this behavior that is documented in SAP Note 409368.

You can either set the fixed indicator as "N" or "*". Please make this change in 'Manage your solution' app --- > Sourcing and Procurement --- > Operational Procurement --- > Purchase Order Processing --- > 11. Define Copying Rules for Item Texts.

The notes refer to on-prem version, but the behavior is the same in cloud.

Best regards,

Mateus.
