Job template SAP_FIN_CO_RCATSTCO doesn't exist error

Hi All,

We are trying to schedule a job using "Application Jobs" app for the "Process Unposted Time Confirmations" job template. In the step 3 of job scheduling, we are getting an error "Job template SAP_FIN_CO_RCATSTCO doesn't exist". Please suggest the cause of this issue.

Please check if you have role related to business catalog Application Jobs. this catalog will allow you to read and write permission.

if you still having issues then please raise to SAP under component BC-SRV-APS-APJ.

I will raise an OSS to SAP as I am able to schedule other jobs from Application jobs app.

I have the same issue in PRD. Has the issue been resolved in your case ?

I'm opening an incident on this.

The Schedule Job is not available in ''Schedule Overhead Accounting Jobs'' app, but it is there in ''Application Jobs''

I have created an incident as well for the same reason. Our client is invoicing on the 1st and 2nd of next month, so this is critical for our client.

I raised and got a reply from SAP telling that the job to process Unposted Time Confirmations is automatically scheduled to run every night in every S/4HANA Cloud system. The job template SAP_FIN_CO_RCATSTCO is therefore obsolete and need not be used any more. Up until today there has not been any request to SAP to reactivate this job template.

I have again raised a request to provide suggestions on how to run it multiple times during month ends if required and waiting for the reply.

Hello all,

As reported in SAP Incident, planned dev request for CE2105 (May 2021).

''With the app 'Process Unposted time confirmation' to resolve the errors and henceforth daily automatic posting of the time entries once the errors are resolved ,the the job template SAP_FIN_CO_RCATSTCO was made obsolete.

Although, there were issues due to which the Job template could not be completely removing the Job Template from the Value help in 'Application Job'.

With that, we also agree that the Job Template would still be required to schedule and process the time entries faster esp. for the period closed errors.

As it would be difficult to provide it as an hotfix, we have planned it as an dev request in S/4HANA Cloud Release 2105.''

Hello Ann Paul,

Along with the suggestion from SYADAV, I suggest you to check if you have the business role SAP_BR_OVERHEAD_ACCOUNTANT as this business role is necessary to run Process Unposted time confirmations.

I have both the roles. I am able to run "Process Unposted Time Confirmations" app directly but since the "Execute in Background" option is disabled in the application, I am trying from "Application Jobs" to schedule a job.
