G/L creation only in Q System (no Transport)

Dear All,

is it possible to create G/L accounts only on Q system and mark them that they are not included into the transportation process to P system? There is the field „blocked for creation“ in the master data but I am not 100% sure if this field is exactly the one I am looking for. It is not easy to test..

Hi Roy,

check the FAQ on G/L account renumbering.

The field that controls the transport of the account to P is "NOT USED" but this implies tha tthe account is fully blocked also in Q and the account is not mean to be used at all.

thanks a lot for your answer! That means that this account is also blocked for posting on Q system so we cannot use this account for testing purposes and post on it on Q system? It should be open for posting but not part of the transportation to P..

Hi Roy,

I'm not sure if you can have the account unblocked and marked as not used a tthe same time. I don't think this scenario was planned in the product( to have G/L accounts used just in Q ) but the transport from Q2P should give you sufficient time to test the account before moving to production without marking it as not used.
