Line item not displayed in App Manage Journal Entries

A question came up several times recently that not all line items are displayed when filtering in App Manage Journal Entries

The default filters are set to filter out some types of journal entries which are not usually used. For example Noted item.

To have all the result in the search please do the following:

1. Delete the default filter each time.

2. Change the filters and save as own variant if needed.

In App Manage Journal Entries (app id F0717) the Entry view defaulted for document

In Journal Entry you can select the account in the app and click on the app Display Line Item Entry (App id F2218) you will also see amount reflective of amount on entry view of Journal Entry.

In App Manage Journal Entries for document change the default Entry view using drop down related options and choose ledger

the total of amount for GL account is equal to the amount in entry view for for GL account.

Data from the entry view is taken from table BSEG. Data for the ledger view is taken from table ACDOCA

In the app Manage Journal Entries for gl account if you Display Line Items in General Ledger (App ID F2217)

The amounts displayed are reflective of the amounts in the journal entry
