Scope Item JB1

Dear,

looking at set-up instruction for scope item Setting Up Core HR with SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central (JB1)  we have read the following:

Note: "This scope item is excluded from default activation as of SAP S/4HANA Cloud 2005. We recommend using the 4AF and 4AJ scope items instead."

Could you please clarify what exactly this means? These scope items 4AF and 4AJ are not available for Portugal.

We expect JB1 to be the correct scope item for Portugal. Could you please confirm there are no issues?

Thanks,

Roberta

Dear danielevinci ,

The scope items 4AF/4AJ are actually global scope items and just haven’t been flagged properly. We will fix this with the 2011 release.

Therefore, please use 4AF/4AJ instead. The JB1 will be deprecated soon.

Thanks!

The information about which scope items are activated can be obtained from Manage Your Solution -> View Solution Scope

This is a huge list which is growing and to find out which items are activated you have to search text in the description. The scope items activated are with tick mark.

Some scope items are not activated by default cause they require an additional license. You have to check the scope item Best Practice to check the pre-requisites to request its activation e.g. for scope item Invoice Processing by OpenText (1LE) under the Best Practices Set-up instructions you will find that if the scope item is not active you shall request the activation via BCP Ticket Component : XX-S4C-OPR-SRV. SAP Service Center enables this enhanced process configuration after the separate license for invoice processing has been acquired.
