Work Center in Task List

Hi everyone,

is there a way to display which work center is used in which task list? 

We want to delete a work center but the meesage "work center still used in task list" shows up.

Hello pierre_scholl ,

You can cover the requirement quite quickly by building a custom CDS and Query to extract routings. For your specific requirement, the main (and I believe only) CDS you would need is "I_MfgBOOOperationChangeState (Composite)".

From there you can filter on work center and find out which Groups (of task lists) contain it.

Hi 00020536227, thanks for your reply! Since pierre_scholl will not be available the next two weeks, I am taking over for him.

I wanted to create a new CDS-view in the "custom CDS-views" app, but I cannot find the data source I_MfgBOOOperationChangeState. Am I on the wrong path or is there anything else I need to do in advance?

I see. Please try to use CDS "I_MfgBillOfOperationsOperation" as primary data source. Then in your elements just use an associated data source SAP proposes to get all the operation + work center details:

e.g. I_MfgBillOfOperationsOperation._BOOOperationChangeState._WorkCenter.WorkCenter

How are you? Different as Materials in Bill of Materials and Master Inspection Characteristics in Inspection Plans, there is no App available for check in which Routing(s) a Work Center is used.
