Disappearance of the Balance Carry Forward app

Below question has been raised several times recently:

We need to perform a balance carry forward, however we did not find the app that we have used repeatedly before "Balance Carry Forward".

To reduce manual effort, the process to carry forward balances has been automated. Now, the balance

carryforward is automatically scheduled two weeks before the start of a new fiscal year.

The Carry Forward Balances app, which required you to manually start the balance carryforward process, has

been removed from the launchpad as of version SAP S/4HANA Cloud 2008.

If you'd like to manually schedule the balance carryforward, you can use the Balance Carryforward job template

in the Schedule General Ledger Jobs app.
