About custom fields and logic of self-developed forms

Regarding the custom form in the production order: the production picking list, the user hopes to add a picking list number to the form, and this list number will be printed according to the previous one. The serial number is generated. As far as I know, this tracking number logic cannot be implemented, so I would like to ask you, is there any other solution? How are you? Regarding the Form Template for "Production Picking List", you can check the Form Template PP_MOR_PICK_LIST (Form Template for Manufacturing Order Pick List) in the App "Maintain Form Templates" (F1434), download this form and edit it in Adobe Life Cycle Designer. So, create a Customized Form Template for this New Form.

But, first, you need to create New Fields for the Business Context "Manufacturing: Bill of Operations Header" in the App "Custom Fields and Logic" (F1481) to allow that the customized Form for Manufacturing Order Pick List consider the Custom Field(s).

How are you? In this case, it will not be feasible the In-App Extensibility for the Form. I recommend you to use Side by Side Extensibility using SAP Cloud Platform and considering the Extensibility also for "Serial Number Management" (https://help.sap.com/viewer/32da8359c8ee4e8b8e8c5e15cacba5aa/2008.500/en-US/20f4d8b2420544f7a5e41471c5bf5dac.html).

Thanks for your answer! The form development you mentioned is the function we use. The current problem is that it is impossible to customize a serial number generation rule in Adobe Life Cycle Designer. A new number will be generated every time the form is printed.
