S/4HANA Public Cloud Workflow Log for Approval Completed Work Item

Hello,

In S/4HANA Public Cloud, Person A and B are assigned to approve. First time PO is approved by person A. Then PO is revised and then revised PO is approved by Person B.

When check PO, it shows latest approver as person B only and does not show first time approver person A in the PO document.

To check the PO workflow log using Workflow Administration app, it has below options to choose under activity section

a. Restart Workflows

b. Cancel Workflows

c. Forward Dialog Work Item

These three options does not show approved workflow logs. How to check the approved workflow logs and whether all approvers for that PO can find in that workflow log?

I am not sure if I got your point, In our case it does shows the list of previous approvers. For example a PR was created and approved by two approvers. Then the User changed the PR & the workflow restarts.

Now in the 'Create Purchase Requisition - Advanced' , I can see the last two approvers who has already approved & the new list of approvers. (Please find the screenshot)

For CDS view, There is no single view where you will get all the details. You will have to create a custom one using

1. To fetch the Work Item ID for a document

2. Then fetch Work Item Over view & details.

You can try using a combination of below CDS veiws

I_WorkflowStatusOverview

I_WorkflowStatusDetails

I_WorkflowTaskExternalStatus

Dear sridharren - With the 2008 release in cloud, we can only check the approval workflow log in the App 'Workflow Administration' for documents which are currently in Approval.

For documents which are already approved, there is no workflow specific app to check the logs.

But if you want to only check the approvers for a document, You can use the apps 'Create Purchase Requisition - Advanced' or 'Create Purchase Order - Advanced'.

In this App, you can provide the document no. & go to the approval tab to see the list of Approvers who has approved the document.

Hello anupnair87,

Thanks for the info. Yes we can see the latest approver using advanced app. But it does not show previous approvers before revision of that document.

Any CDS view has this info of all approver details (if that particular document revised many times and got approved many times) for that document?
