Tax Number character limitation - Manage Business Partner #Deloitte #COE

Dear SAP,  I am currently using the "Manage Business Partner" application in S4 Hana Cloud.  There has been a request to enter a Tax Number which is 22 characters in length. However, there is a validation error that pops up saying the maximum allowed is 16 characters ( see below screenshot)      Please could you advise on the above issue    Kind Regards  Muhammad  Muhpathan@deloitte.co.za

Hi Muhammad,

what country are we talking about ?

As far as i know the fields Tax number 1 will allow max 20 chars even if you use 102592 - Set Country-Specific Checks.

Maybe there is a specific rule for that country or a different solution that can be applied.
