I was looking to integrate Debit/credit card reader with Cash desk(FPCD) , I have also gone through the event 6065 ,but what i want to know is that how the data is being transferred from the credit card reader to SAP , is it through (idocs, rfc etc ) and if so can there be two way connection/communication between sap and the card reader.and what are the specifics of the transfer method(idoc ,rfc , etc) .
Client requirement - Read consumption bill barcode (containing amount due) in sap transfer the amount to the credit card reader , customer with help from representative swipes credit card in card reader ,which is sent to bank for clearing (by the card reader provider) , if transaction is cleared then success message is sent from the card reader to sap where payment with card details is accepted and receipt is printed .
