We have been wondering about these kind of handling unit features as well. Unfortunately, I'm afraid that it's not possible because no migration template is available and also no API exists yet to create HU's.
There are some requests on the Customer Influence platform to provide an API to perform the packing and create HU's. Please upvote them if you have similar requirements.
