Can we enhance step properties of a flexible workflow

Hi all,  I have requirement to store an additional property to a step while creating a flexible workflow from Manage workflow app.  I think, there will be a feasibility to configure something for an activity of a workflow scenario(SWDD_SCENARIO) in order to provide additional property to a step while creating workflow from Manage workflow app.  Can anyone help me if there is any feasibility to achieve this point?    Thanks in advance.  Best Regards,  PerasadKanchustambam
