BAdI to influence goods receipt in Central Procurement

Dear Team,

Are you aware of any BAdI that can be used to influence creation of goods receipt in the connected system.

The Idea is to create a Goods Receipt in the Hub System using the App - Confirm Receipt of Goods New

And before the GR is created in the connected ECC system, manipulate the values in the item data.

Dear anupam_kumar - Thank you!

As there is no BAdI available in the 2008 release, we were able to implement a workaround to meet the business requirement.

1. During PR creation, the User enters the storage location in one of the standard fields. (As custom field transfer to connected system is currently not possible)

2. During replication of this PR in connected system, we are fetching the value from this field & passing it to the storage location field.

3. Once the PR is replicated, auto PO is created with the storage location

4. And the GR is created in the CP system with the App - Confirm receipts of Goods - New

5. In Addition to this, we have also implemented a check in CP to ensure that the User enters the storage location in the standard field during PR creation. (Based on requirement, we might also implement a validation for this field)

Looking forward for the standard storage location field in the Confirmation App.

Hi Anup,

As discussed, currently we don't have any BADI to meet this requirement. We will plan to come up with standard solution to meet your requirement by enabling storage location in confirmation app
